Helping struggling churches in remote areas
Urging missionaries and churches to stand
fast in the Last Days
1 John 4:10
John 4:10- "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he
loved us, and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins".
God loves sinners.
God did not have a very lovely audience to send his
Son to die for!
Romans 5:8- "But God commendeth
his love toward us, In that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
The love of God is beyond our
comprehension! How could a Just and Righteous God love someone so
unlovable? Not only that but he gave heaven's best for the world's
John 3:16- "For God so loved the
world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life".
2- God loves christian unity.
1 John 4:11- "Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought
also to love one another".
1 John 4:20- "If a man say, I
love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not
his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not
I admit that some
people are very hard to love but we as children of a loving God need to
make every effort we can muster to show that love to others!
1 John 3:14- "We know that we
have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that
loveth not his brother abideth in death".
It is pretty good
indicator of whether you have been born again to see how you treat
3- God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:7- "Every man according as he purposeth in
his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God
loveth a cheerful giver".
This passage has been
used for giving tithes to the church but it has far more applications
than that. This passage is giving instructions about attitudes in what
to give, how to give and when to give. It should be an attitude of
every christian to be always seeking to help others and to let the Lord
lead us in all that we do.
4- God loves to protect his saints.
Psalms 37:28- "For the LORD loveth judgment, and
forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved forever: but the seed of
the wicked shall be cut off".
don't think the Lord practiced eternal security for his people in the
old testament you have been grossly mistaken!
5- God loves to correct his children.
Proverbs 3:12- "For whom the LORD loveth he
correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth".
Hebrews 12:8- "But if ye be without chastisement,
whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons".
God doesn't whip the
devil's children but he will not let a child of God get away with open
If you see a person who claims to be a christian and their life looks
like the devil is their father with to apparent chastisement from the
Lord, you can just about be certain that they have never been born
again. God however is longsuffering not willing that any should perish
so it might take a while for the Lord to come down hard on that person.
God want's us to hear his voice through the Holy Spirit and repent of
sin and follow righteousness and he will give a child of God ample
space to do so but there is a deadline!
Please be assured that God loves you and if
you are not saved He would love for you to accept His Son as your only
hope of eternal life by repenting of your sins and inviting Him into
your heart today! God loves to see unity among the brethren and he
loves a cheerful giver. He has promised to protect His saints. You can
count on being with Jesus one day if you know Him in the free pardon of
sin! The call to come up hither might be the next sound you hear! God
also loves to correct his children so you need to check up and see if
your life is on the altar and that you are living for the Lord.
