Urging missionaries and churches to stand fast in the Last Days

1- God condemns the scattering of his sheep by Pastors.

Jeremiah 23:1- "Woe (CONDEMNED) be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD." Pastors scatter Gods sheep by being lords over Gods heritage. 1 Peter 5:3- "Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock." The pulpit is not a place to make demands of God's people but where they are supposed to be fed with the word of God so that they might grow in grace and knowledge!

2- God condemns the practice of filthy lucre, by Pastors.
1 peter 5:2- "Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight theroof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind,
We live in a time when the pulpit has been used for everything from promoting political candidates to vacation cruises. From selling wares to real estate, all in the name of religion. The use of the pulpit for personal gain makes God angry!

God is sick of what is going on behind pulpits across America and around the world and we are reminded of the time Jesus threw the moneychangers from the temple.
Matthew chapter 21:12-15-
"And Jesus went into the temple of God . and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, and said unto them, it is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of theives,"

John's gospel gives us a more detailed description of the story in chapter 2 and verses 13-16.

John 2:13- "And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem."

John 2:14- "And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:"

John 2:15- "And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;"

John 2:16- "And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise."

We are seeing the same abomination practiced from our pulpits today with preachers selling taped messages, singing tapes or disks, and printed sermons.

When did God instruct pastors to sell that which is sacred ? When did God make pastors a tour guide, selling seats on a cruise ship so he can get his passage free and all in the name of, "It's a spiritual cruise".

When did God instruct pastors to sell real estate under the guise of, "It's a christian retirement complex"?

3- God condemns Pastors who are not feeding his sheep and rescuing sinners!
John 21:17- "He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep."

It is no wonder God is not blessing our churches, with the main goal of christianity far away from God's purpose. The mission outreach is God's challenge for pastors and for the church and nothing else really matters to the Lord.

It looks like many pastors of our day are seated with the money changers for personal gain and notice is served that God is driving out those who do not honor Him.

The money changers of Christ day thought they were doing God a service but Jesus was so angry with them that he made a whip and drove them out.

The moneychangers were in God's house alright, selling doves, cattle and sheep that the Jews used for the passover offering and in doing so made a profit off the deal. God is not pleased with pastors that make his pulpit a podium of profit. If we don't wake up and get our priorities right, the modern pulpit has had it.

Jeremiah 2:8-  "The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit."

There are a few good Pastors left but they are getting to be mighty few, even amone the Independent Baptist. If something doesn't wake us up and get the real churches on fire for the Lord, we have had it!
